Users may encounter software glitches such as failing to update their online accounts, inability to print, and so on, as Quicken has served for the past three decades and remains the #1 personal accounting software. So, in a similar vein, we’ll talk about Quicken Error OL-393-A.

What Causes Quicken Error OL-393-A?

Quicken isn’t up to date with the new release/update; Quicken’s username and passwords are incorrect; Verify Quicken online facilities, Quicken data files, and so on.

Quicken Error Code OL-393 can be fixed in five simple measures.

A. Check to see if Quicken is up to date and working.

Activate Quicken and go to Help > Keep an eye out for new information.
If the update is a simple click away from being installed, or if it has already been downloaded, continue with the measures.

B. Update your account details on the internet

Go to the top-right gear icon and then click on Update now (Ctrl+Alt+U) Open the account via the left-hand account tab that triggers this error. After entering your account password, press Update Now. If it was successfully modified, repeat the process with any other accounts that are experiencing problems.

C. Search for secret accounts and account details.

Go to Tools > Account List (Ctrl+A) and select Edit for the account that has the error. On the General Tab, double-check that your bank details, such as account number, routing number, and so on, is correct.

Look for any hidden accounts.

• Choose Tools > Account List (Ctrl+A) from the menu bar. If any accounts are secret, check show account that is hidden at the bottom of the account list, then go to Edit > Display Options and uncheck it. This account can be hidden in the Options menu.
Verify the information via the account; if all is right, you can hide this account again. Quicken also offers 5GB of free online storage through Dropbox.

D. Deactivate the account and the Quicken file that has been validated.

Select Tools > Account List (Ctrl+A) from the menu bar. For the account that contains the functionality, click Edit. OL-393-A Quicken Error
Select Online Services, then press Deactivate. Select Yes to confirm, then OK and Done.

Quicken File Validation

To validate and repair a file, go to File > File Operations > Validate and Repair…
Check the box next to Validate File, then press OK.
The validation process will begin (depending on the size of your file, this could take some time). DATA LOG generates a written report for data files.
If you find any errors under DATA LOG, please contact Quicken Support right away.

E. Get your bank account reactivated.

Select Tools > Account List (Ctrl+A) from the menu bar. For the account with the problem, go to Edit. Select now set up… on the Online Services page.

· Now type your bank’s Username and Password into the boxes provided. Check the box for Save this password (it will most definitely ask you for your Vault password or ID).

Quick Note: Following Quicken’s separation from Intuit Inc., each user must create a Quicken ID. Connect by clicking the button.

Quicken will pull up your bank details during the reactivation process, so you don’t have to add anything.
